Family Friendly Workplaces
It’s not just the law that tells us workplaces need to be family friendly. It’s also the research. We know that businesses that implement family friendly policies see increased staff loyalty and retention by return and that those who provide enhanced family leave packages report improvements in the attraction and retention of top talent.

This training course focuses on providing managers with the knowledge and understanding to assist employees who are returning to the workplace, whether from a period of family leave or a full career break. A recent poll of more than 1,000 people who had returned to work after an absence of a year, conducted by Survation for Vodafone UK, found that 37% of those who return to work after a year or more away experience a loss of confidence in their own ability.
