Joe Milner: From Apprentice to Barrister

20 November 2018

Five years in the making, and after starting as an Apprentice, Joe Milner will be called to the Bar today.

We’re incredibly proud of Joe Milner, who celebrates a major milestone in his career today as he is called to the Bar.

Originally joining the Group in 2013 as an Administrative Apprentice, Joe achieved certificates in both Business Administration and Legal Methods while working at Loch Associates Group, before obtaining his Law Degree at Canterbury Christ Church University. He not only achieved a First in his degree but also ranked top of his cohort, won several awards including the University’s Outstanding Performance in Law award and continued to work with us.

Following his official calling as a Barrister at Inner Temple today, he starts the next phase of his career, training to become a solicitor with Loch Law at the end of his course in June. Joe said:

“I am delighted to have become a Barrister and to feel that all of my hard work and studying has paid off. I’d  particularly like to thank Loch Associates Group for being so supportive of me throughout the process and I am looking forward to becoming a qualified solicitor with Loch Law.”

Pam Loch, Managing Director said“For many employers, finding the right staff for their business is a challenge, and Apprenticeships are a great way to identify the talent of the future.  I’m so pleased to have been able to give Joe a head start in his career, and that Loch Associates Group has been able to support him along the way as he achieves his career goals.”

On behalf of everybody here at Loch Associates Group, we wish Joe many congratulations on this outstanding achievement and the very best in his future career with us.
