Background and reference checks

Verifying a candidate’s references or carrying out background checks is critical nowadays and in some instances obligatory. Loch HR offers a variety of background checks, including:

  • Criminal record (DBS) checks
  • Social media background checks for candidates entering a public-facing or PR-oriented role
  • Credit checks for those entering the financial industry
  • Reference checking

Our background checks can be performed as part of a full recruitment process or as a standalone service, with advice available to businesses who are unsure which checks should be carried out.
